Bye Elder Raposo

Hello! 

This week was pretty busy because Elder Raposo is going home tomorrow so we said goodbye to all of the friends he's made in the mission, and even got to travel to another area to say goodbye to some recent converts in an area called Piraquara. It was so pretty! We also went and visited a famous opera house here in Curitiba called Opera de Arame and it was so pretty! We took lots of pictures but unfortunately there wasn't anyone singing while we were there. 

This week was really fun because we got to visit lots of members and people here in the area and we had some awesome lessons with them! We also had the opportunity to teach my friend Diosvany about where the Book of Mormon comes from and he was so excited to learn it all. He bore his testimony for us about Joseph Smith and it was so powerful! Hopefully, we can continue to teach him because he's planning on moving to The United States pretty soon to try and find work there. I wish him the best, but i also hope he keeps progressing closer to God!

June 28, 2021 Hey everyone! This won't be a super long email because I'm semi locked down and we don't get to do much that's worth writing about. One thing that did happen this week was that as we were walking down the little alley way to our front door, I was throwing the keys and they got stuck on a horizontal pillar that connects the two walls. We couldn't get into the house because the door was locked and we couldn't leave because the gate at the front of the alley already re locked! So, I took my shoes and socks off and spidermanned my way up there by pushing on both walls (kinda like in Emperors New Groove) and climbed up to get the keys. When I came back down my companion said something about his freaking crazy American comp, but it was kinda funny! I did, however, shred my hands because the stucco was so rough. Oh well.
