Hey everyone! This won't be a super long email because I'm semi locked down and we don't get to do much that's worth writing about. One thing that did happen this week was that as we were walking down the little alley way to our front door, I was throwing the keys and they got stuck on a horizontal pillar that connects the two walls. We couldn't get into the house because the door was locked and we couldn't leave because the gate at the front of the alley already re locked! So, I took my shoes and socks off and spidermanned my way up there by pushing on both walls (kinda like in Emperors New Groove) and climbed up to get the keys. When I came back down my companion said something about his freaking crazy American comp, but it was kinda funny! I did, however, shred my hands because the stucco was so rough. Oh well.

I've had a LOT of time to study this week and I want to testify to everyone about the eternal truths in the Book of Mormon. What really stuck out to me a lot this week was in 2 Nephi 27-33 and the prophesies it shared about our day! He also talks in those chapters about missionary work in the last days along with all the scripture that will come forth (We dont have it all yet!! (2 Nephi 29:13)) and then even talks about why Jesus needed to be baptized if he was perfect. I can testify as an ordained minister of Jesus Christ that the truths contained in the Book of Mormon dont only change lives, they change eternities. Study the words written in this book and God will speak to you and change your life more than you could ever imagine.

(Heres a link so you dont have to worry about finding your book ;))

I love you all so much!

This week was pretty good but other than a couple things, we didnt leave often. First off, I wanna thank my wonderful grandma for teaching me how to sew before I left. haha. It saved my favorite tie! Which reminds me... hand wash your ties.

We had zone conference this week and it was so good. I didn't understand everything, but the spirit and the Gift of Tongues helped me understand exactly what I needed. Afterwards I had an interview with president and he told me that maybe if I bought a ukulele it would help me be more creative when I'm home for long times so I already learned I Lava You and I'm having a good time with that. On Monday I had to go to Paranaguá to renew my Visa so I cant be deported and I loved it there. It's right on the coast and it's this little old town amd now I'm praying that I get to serve there! And, along with that I can't be deported now so Win-Win! But, on the way back there was this fruits stand selling branches (not bunches) of bananas, and they are SO good, so we bought a branch and tied it up in the car so they don't get smashed.
I'm not sure who's been praying for us to have so much success but you've got the faith of Job! We received 10 referrals this week! (2 while I've been writing this!) And it's awesome so pray that these people continue to accept our message! I love you all and thank you so much for all your support!

Love you all, Elder McKee
