Elder Joshua Mckee

Hey everyone! Sorry i didn't write last week, we were quarantined for a week because we had contact with a couple families who tested positive, but this week was much better! We baptized my friend, Danilo and it was so good! He asked me to baptize him which made me very happy even tho he forgot my name... it was still good though and we even had the Martinez family go and they decided to start taking the lessons again!  After the baptism Danilo told me that when he was getting into the font he had a really weird feeling and he didn't like it, but as soon as I explained how it would go and what I would say he said he felt really good and knew that he was doing what he needed to do. It reminded me of the First vision and how right before Joseph saw God the Father and Jesus Christ he was attacked by the forces of darkness to try and dissuade him and make him give up. Don't give up my friends because the light is coming soon. This week I was thinking a lot about the feelings Go...

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing so well and you had an amazing New Years!  This week was pretty good, but we had 2 baptism fall through so pray for Patricia and Miguel.  We got to spend the new year with some members and it was really fun, but we had so much food...I think I'm still full.  This week we marked my friend Danilo to be baptized and we are hoping that can be on Saturday so pray for him to remember to read and pray about the restoration.  I'm sorry I don't have much to say, but I have pictures! Hello everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! Sorry I'm writing late and this email is short, it's been pretty busy here. For Christmas we had the chance to use some money donated by our wards and families to help the families in need here. It was really really fun and I loved that we got to help them a little to have a good Christmas! We bought food and necessities for 10 families and were able to donate the extra money to the wards to help with their missionaries who are serving right now! For our Christmas everyone tried to mark lunch with us so we ended up walking house to house and eating more food than I've ever eaten in my life. It's been 3 days and I'm still full! I love you all so much and I hope you remember why we celebrated Christmas and you all involve Christ in your lives. Love, Elder McKee

Hello everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't written an email in so long, we are in a trio so we have to share 1 phone between 3 people and we've also been having pretty busy p-days so I haven't had very much time. In the past couple weeks we've found lots and lots of people and had all of them drop us, but one little miracle came from soccer. We showed up one p-day to play with some members in the ward and there was a whole group of people playing there so we just played a game with them and it was awesome! (I didn't suck either) We made a whole bunch of good contacts, and then kept seeing those kids around town so when we went back the next week we played with them all again and marked numbers and started teaching and now we are basically teaching 15 teenagers every time we go play soccer. It's been really fun and we get to teach the lessons in normal clothes so I don't need a tie!  I'm sorry I didn't write for a month and then only write 2 paragraph...
