Back in Utah....

Hello my dear friends and family!


This week was awesome! We had a devotional with our mission and the Curitiba mission and President Lund, the general president of the young men's, spoke. It was awesome! He is a really good guy and we got pictures with him after. He spoke a lot about our divine heritage and how we are called to the work to prepare the world for the coming of Christ. It was powerful.

We also had MLC this week which was good because all the leadership was there and we talked about having fun while still working hard and using games to teach... which is kinda my speciality. We also talked a lot about working with families and including members. This work is to save families so we are trying to find more families to teach.

We also had stake conference this week which was great! We got our friends Niurka and her daughter, Daniela there and ended up marking a baptismal date for them for the 11th! Niuraka wanted to mark that date because it gives us time to teach her husband before the baptism so he can be baptized as well... we haven't even met him yet because he travels for work a lot. hahaha So pray for a miracle!

I know this church is true and it shows us the only path back to God. We aren't human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

June 28, 2021 Hey everyone! This won't be a super long email because I'm semi locked down and we don't get to do much that's worth writing about. One thing that did happen this week was that as we were walking down the little alley way to our front door, I was throwing the keys and they got stuck on a horizontal pillar that connects the two walls. We couldn't get into the house because the door was locked and we couldn't leave because the gate at the front of the alley already re locked! So, I took my shoes and socks off and spidermanned my way up there by pushing on both walls (kinda like in Emperors New Groove) and climbed up to get the keys. When I came back down my companion said something about his freaking crazy American comp, but it was kinda funny! I did, however, shred my hands because the stucco was so rough. Oh well.
