Dropped for our Drip
Hey y’all, how are ya? So, funny thing this week we were Dropped for our Drip.
Our best family sent us a text and said they didn't want us to pass by anymore because when Jesus was here on the earth, he didn't wear a shirt and tie or nice shoes or dress pants so we couldn't be representatives of Jesus Christ because we don't dress like him. It was really sad actually to see this family decide to leave us because just 2 weeks ago they told us they wanted to be baptized. But, I guess it all works out in the Lord's timing. We've been trying really hard to find people this week and we've had absolutely no success. All our best people are dropping us and we can't find new people, so please pray for us!
We did have some good lessons with my friend Darlan! He's really funny because he owns pizzeria so every time we go over he whips us up a pizza real fast and then we eat it and have our lesson with him. He's a good guy who is our only progressing person so pray for him as well!
This week I was thinking a lot about the questions we have as we try to follow Jesus. I heard an analogy that talked about a stone mason making a wall. When he finds a rock that doesn't fit, he doesn't abandon the whole wall. But, he sets it off to the side because somewhere along the line there will be a niche that's exactly perfect for that rock. And, his wall will be more complete because he continued in faith and didn't give up. Our questions are the same and we need to keep going hoping that it will all work out in the end.
Love you all!
Elder McKee
