Lost Sheep
Hello!
This week we didn't have much to do with investigators so we decided to visit some members that show up in our area book. The first night, the first door we knocked on a lady answered and was so excited to see us! (Which I'm not used to) She said that she had been trying to find the chapel and come back with her family, but they didn't know anyone here or where the chapel was, and they missed the church so much. She said she had said a prayer the night before for one more chance to repent and come back and we knocked on her door that night! It was a really cool tender mercy, but the miracle came the next day when basically the EXACT same thing happened with one of the YSAs in the ward and he was so excited to see us. We set up a lunch for the next day! It was really cool to feel like we were actually doing something to make a difference for once!
Sorry, I don't have much time today (we have a family night with one of those families!) But I love you all and hope you are doing well!
Oh, I almost forgot I made an apple pie this week for the first time in my life and it was a big hit. Everyone wanted to take pictures with me and the pie sooooo you can call me Chef Elder if you want.
Love, Elder Chef McKee
