Papai Natal throwing hand signs
Hello everyone! I would just like it on the record that I DID write an email last week, but my Secretary and Editor forgot to get it out, that being said, the past 2 weeks were eventful!
On Saturday's we visit our investigators and some members who need help finding the right path with our Ward Mission Leader, and this last Saturday we decided to clap some doors, and let me tell ya...
It was fantastic! We only knocked 3 doors (that's not the only reason it was so good ;)) but on the 3rd, the guy knew exactly who we were, and he said "you're the Mormons right?" And his daughter yelled and said "No, they're missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!" It reminded me of what Elder Anderson said in General conference, "The name of the church is non-negotiable"
It was really cool because this family was taught before the pandemic and lost contact with missionaries during the confusion of Covid, but they remember everything, and they were so fun to talk to! I'm excited to get to know them better so please keep them in your prayers!
Today we were at the mall to pick some things up and they had Christmas all set up already and as we were going up the escalator, Santa waved at us and threw us a peace sign. When we waved back he yelled at us to come take a picture with him! So, we took Santa pictures and taught him a couple gospel principles! If we baptize him fast enough we can get him to put a Book of Mormon in EVERY stocking this year!!
I love you all so much, and remember to pray and keep trying, even when it's really hard.
Love, Elder McKee
Last Weeks Email….mom says sorry….It was a busy week. :)
HELLO EVERYONE!! So, this week was pretty good. But, also busy so I didn't get a chance to write a good email, I'll write a better one next week.
For now remember that God loves you and knows your struggles! Here's some pictures (because I know that's why you look at this email anyway)
That log is from a bridge we usually cross that fell down, it's a lot higher than it looks.
Love, Elder McKee
