My mom is so wise!

Hey everyone! 


This week was so good! There were so many little miracles, and the gift of tongues is literally my best friend! 

This week we got to go to a family home evening in a members house and there were 3 families plus us crammed in this little living room for a spiritual thought and to hangout and the mom of the house, who is this cute little Venezuelan lady said “Welcome everyone!! I may not speak the same language as you all, but my heart is big enough to love you all anyway!” Then, we had an amazing talk about faith and works.
When I was talking I had a quote I wanted to say but I couldn't remember who said it, so I said "this reminds me of something my mom always says, ‘Pray like it all depends on God and then work like it all depends on you.'" Everyone kept telling me about how wise my mom must be and I told them all yes, and we moved on. A couple days later my companion, Elder Raposo, told me about how cool it was that my mom says almost the exact same thing as an apostle, and said almost the same quote... I just said she must've got it from him. Haha

Mom:   Personality that draws people in. You’ll do great wherever you go.  Don’t change who are.  Be the Missionary you were meant to be. Dad:   you are prepared!!
