BRAZIL

Hey y'all! I'm going to Brazil on Thursday! (Hopefully) but it's a crazy story.


So, a couple weeks ago I got a call from President Metts that I'm going on May 6 and I was super excited! But, then this last Saturday, he called again and said that I couldn't go until I was fully vaccinated so i had to track down a shot. Yesterday we scheduled the Johnson and Johnson shot (so it was one and done) and I got it today! (It actually wrecked me and all of my joints hurt but, woo Brazil) So, now I'm vaccinated and hopefully they still have the same flight open on Thursday so I can go!

This week was all over the place as for whether I was staying or going so I got as many pictures with people we see as I could so I have lots this week! 

Spiritual thought: this week I've been thinking about how perfect the Plan is. The fact that God loves each and every one of us enough to let us suffer and figure things out on our own is so amazing! D&C 122:7 says 

"And if thou shouldst be cast into the pit, or into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if thou be cast into the deep; if the billowing surge conspire against thee; if fierce winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my son, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good."

It shows us that God is in control! He knows what you're going through and he wants to help you! He is waiting to bless you more than you know and all you have to do is humble yourself enough to ask!!

Josh’s Missionary Setting Apart Blessing                           January 5, 2021   Stake Presidency asked us, as a family, to give Josh advice as he starts his mission. Mom:   Personality that draws people in. You’ll do great wherever you go.  Don’t change who are.  Be the Missionary you were meant to be. Dad:   you are prepared!!
