Hello everyone! 

  i'm very sorry I forgot last weeks email, but don't worry that just means extra mission content this week! 
We are going on week 4 of MTC and starting on Monday we are switching teachers to a couple of sisters who they say dont speak English… but I'm not convinced. Regardless, we will definitely be forced to speak more Portuguese! I can’t remember if I talked about the little book we had to memorize but I got it memorized in a week… that’s almost 400 words and even more phrases! The Gift of Tongues is real everyone! However, now that we got the basic core down we have even more to work on. They say the goal is between 1500-2500 words and 250-500 phrases in the next three weeks! Which is a lot but its doable and through Christ all things are possible. 
Oh, I almost forgot… I got reassigned to Tacoma, Washington! I still fly out on February 16 and I’m happy to go to Washington.  I know I’ll get to  Brazil at some point in the next two years. 
God is real and he loves you, so this week I challenge each of you to get down and pray and thank him for everything he’s given you. Its crazy how much you’ll see his hand in your life if you simply look. I love you all so much!

June 28, 2021 Hey everyone! This won't be a super long email because I'm semi locked down and we don't get to do much that's worth writing about. One thing that did happen this week was that as we were walking down the little alley way to our front door, I was throwing the keys and they got stuck on a horizontal pillar that connects the two walls. We couldn't get into the house because the door was locked and we couldn't leave because the gate at the front of the alley already re locked! So, I took my shoes and socks off and spidermanned my way up there by pushing on both walls (kinda like in Emperors New Groove) and climbed up to get the keys. When I came back down my companion said something about his freaking crazy American comp, but it was kinda funny! I did, however, shred my hands because the stucco was so rough. Oh well.
