Travel Visa's on hold.

Please read attached information regarding visa processing delays due to COVID-19.  We will send full instructions as soon as we can begin processing your visa.

As you know, visa processing was interrupted by the COVID pandemic. Recently we received approval to begin sending instructions and collecting documents for certain countries, and in a few rare cases, to begin processing visas. 

Your country is still NOT approved for emailing visa instructions, collecting documents or processing visas, as there are documents that will expire and travel is not yet possible due to consulate closures and/or border restrictions. 

There could be other missionaries from your district, or among your friends, who have already received visa instructions for their country. Each process is different, and some visas do not require time sensitive documents. Please do not use another missionary’s visa instructions, as they are individualized and there may be changes in the future. 

We are truly sorry for the delay but can assure you that we are monitoring each mission and working hard to return missionaries to their original assignments as quickly as it is safe and possible to do so. We wish that we could give you a timeframe for restarting your visa process and how long it will take once we do. Unfortunately there are just too many factors that we cannot predict. 

If you are assigned to a temporary mission, we will work with you and your temporary mission office to complete the visa process while in the field, and will send your completed documents to you there for travel directly from that assignment. Thank you for your patience!
