As announced by the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, all missionaries will participate in an online MTC experience until risks associated with COVID-19 subside. This training will take place through videoconference technology in your home or another suitable location. This notice supersedes the direction given in your call letter to report to a physical MTC. Online training will begin on your originally scheduled MTC start date unless you are specifically notified otherwise. You will learn together with a district of up to eight missionaries and two assigned teachers. You will participate in online instruction with your district for up to six hours per day. You will have an assigned companion in your district with whom you will participate in online companion study and practice for one hour...

Travel Visa's on hold.

Dear missionary,   Please read attached information regarding visa processing delays due to COVID-19.  We will send full instructions as soon as we can begin processing your visa.     Thank you,   Missionary Travel Team As you know, visa processing was interrupted by the COVID pandemic. Recently we received approval to begin sending instructions and collecting documents for certain countries, and in a few rare cases, to begin processing visas.  Your country is still NOT approved for emailing visa instructions, collecting documents or processing visas, as there are documents that will expire and travel is not yet possible due to consulate closures and/or border restrictions.  There could be other missionaries from your district, or among your friends, who have already received visa instructions for their country. President Oldham is a former bishop, YSA bishop, bishopric counselor, and missionary in the Brazil São Paulo North and Brazil Campinas missions. He was born in Stockton, California, to Normand Grant Oldham and Beatrice Louise Hawkes Richards. Sister Oldham is a former ward Young Women president, young single adult adviser, ward organist, and ward Young Women adviser. She was born in Glendora, California, to Bruce McAllister Lake and Patricia Deane Goalen Lake.

Where in the World is Josh Going?

You've been called to serve in......Charitiba, Brazil, on January 6, 2021.   Portuguese Language, Brazil BTC. (Pronounced...cooty chi ba) Josh flew home from California to open his call.  He kept it safe. Malena was able to call and listen with her companions.   Maddy and Sarah Grandma McKee Sarah Livvy, Myleigh, Sarah, Maddy Allie and Keanna Andy Grandma and Grandpa Mckee Loa, Joey, and Emily Laminated Lena Woo Hoo,  Malena's post on Facebook. So excited for Josh.
