Elder Joshua Mckee

I just burnt my hand really bad grabbing a sponge out of (near) boiling water. I knew what I was doing, but I did it anyway. That's kinda how sin works sometimes. So, ladies and gentlemen, the sponge isn't worth it. Think about your actions before you act. That being said this will be a short email because it hurts to write! :)  This week was great! We met a man named Diosvany, he's from Cuba and speaks about the same amount of Portuguese I do. I talk in the little Spanish I still remember from high school, and when I dont know a word I say it in Portuguese. He does the same thing but switched... it's a little confusing but somehow the spirit still helps us communicate. We've had some awesome lessons with him and went to church with him yesterday, too! Pray for him that he can continue progressing and becoming closer to God because he's amazing, and deserves a little peace and love from his Celestial Dad! My spiritual thought tonight comes from... all over haha,...

Hi, you don't actually have to read this but there is a music video at the bottom for you all :)  This week was the best week of my mission so far. God works miracles in our lives when we allow him to do so. Excersize that beautiful gift of agency weve been blessed with to open the door to a better life than you could ever create on your own! Today for p day President and Sister Oldham invited us to some of the famous gardens and tourist attractions here in Curitiba! It was amazing and so fun! Pictures below. A miracle of this week comes from a friend of mine named Rael. Rael's phone hasn't been working so we havent had contact with him at all. His aunt is a member, but he just kinda took a break from the church because he felt like his life was pretty good without talking to us or coming to church.
