Elder Joshua Mckee

Hello from Brazil everyone!  It's been pretty crazy getting here and unfortunately I don't have any pictures because they're all on my phone, and I don't have it anymore!  It's very, very different here and it's taking a lot of serious adjustment. But, I'm getting there! I'm also getting much much better at Portuguese every day and I can testify that the gift of tongues is real!! I started this week in Tacoma, and my last day was at Zions Camp with half the mission. It was so good to see so many people I love before I left, but it was some hard goodbyes. I flew here and it took about a day and a half to finally get here but when I did I met my companion Elder Rechetnicou (hey-shech-nee-cow) and now we are in the beautiful ward of Caiuá! We double cover Caiuá and Parque Dos Tropeiros. Everything is over zoom so I haven't got to meet anyone in the ward yet but I'll adjust and get used to it.  I love you all so much and thank you for your support! Y...

Hello everyone! We have 2 weeks to catch up on so woot woot! My wonderful companions and I had the amazing experience to go do baptisms for the dead in the Seattle temple and I didn't realize how much I missed the temple until we were there. But, as i was about to get in the font and do the baptism, I got a bloody nose! And when the temple worker come over to ask if I was alright I quoted Isaiah 1:18 " Come now, and let us reason together, saith the  Lord : though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." He didn't think it was as funny as I did, but it got all cleaned up and I still got to baptize and be baptized.  We did a service this last week and it was a thing called "Project Homeless Connect" and we made kits for homeless people. They had stuff like socks and hygiene stuff, and some food and information to help them get back on their feet and it was so fun! We got to meet so many ...
