Elder Joshua Mckee

Hello everyone! I have horrible time management so i have T-4 minutes to write this email! This week was good! We are busy finding people and we found a kid this week who said "so yall are mormons? (no but also yes) Do you know Maverick Brady?" and we were like “Yes, we do we are going over to his house for dinner tonight actually! Have you ever wondered why he went all the way to Mexico to talk about a book?" And he said he had wondered that.  So, we are gonna teach him. YAY The other exciting thing that happened this week is that President called me and my visa for Brazil came thru.  I am going to Brazil on May 6.  woohoo. This week was pretty busy, and I remembered to actually take some pictures so, woohoo! We had zone conference so we got to see all the missionaries in the south half of the mission and have some trainings and basically just have a day of spiritual upliftings. That was so good.  We had exchanges so I was with Elder Laurence and Elder Van Patten and it was super, super fun! I introduced them to Bruce who is really funny to talk to and he has a really interesting personality, but he is so talented with restoring antiques so his house is full of old stuff, and lots of plants as well. We also found a Book of Mormon in someone's garden when we were knocking and it looked like it had been there for a while.  We tried to trade him for a new one, but nobody was home. We did service for a lady a ward over and she had a couple really cute dogs. I took pictures with them and one dog tried to bite my name tag. But, she was really cute, so it's okay. This week wasn't the most exciting, so this won't be very long. Our mission came out with a live event on Facebook for Easter on Sunday and it's so cool! It's made completely by missionaries and most of the people in it are missionaries so its way cool to watch. It's all about the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ and we've watched it 3 times (with investigators, not just by ourselves).  If you wanna watch it, its on the Facebook page 'Come unto Christ in North Tacoma' and i would recommend watching it! Also, it was conference weekend and that was cool. If you didn't watch it then go watch that as well, because Amos 3:7 says "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." so go listen to the prophets and listen to what God needs to say to you. i love you all.  Elder McKee The Bell Family had the missionaries over for dinner and gave them each an Easter Basket and grocery store gift...
